TO Beaches Open For Business

Starting Sunday the following beaches will be open for swimming, with lifeguards on site:

Bluffer’s Beach
Centre Island Beach
Cherry Beach
Gibraltar Point Beach
Hanlan’s Point Beach
Kew-Balmy Beach
Sunnyside Beach
Ward’s Island Beach
Woodbine Beaches

The following beaches will be open for swimming starting June 14:

Marie Curtis Park Beach
Rouge Beach

The water quality at the city’s 11 beaches is tested daily from June 1 through to Labour Day, the city said in a statement. Residents can read more information about daily water quality testing by visiting the city’s website or by calling 416-392-7161.
