Waking from sleep should be gradual transition. Try slowly just moving toes and fingers in bed before getting up. Drinking an 8oz glass of room temperature water is a nice way to stimulate the inner body. Follow general hygiene (brushing teeth, shower etc) with a few simple warm up activities like cat and cow, Roll ups & downs from standing, a gentle side bend seated in a chair. You may be surprised how much your body had been craving movement and the after effects that energize your mind.
