Bright, pure and elegant; red cherry and floral, medium bodied and crisp with really delicate tannins; but its Pommard – like texture and depth I admire the most; great length here that comes with mineral overtones; terroir – driven Pinot precisely capturing the vintage’s character, the vineyard specific area’s nuances and the winemaker’s puritanism; I doubt that you can find a quality – wise more superior Pinot for $45; lifford.com
