Wine List Review: Grano

By on March 31, 2014

Italo – Canadese institution of gastro – culture. In business for almost thirty years now, family owned and operated, the epiphany of classic trattoria and genuine accoglienza; the two pages – long wine list got most of the mainstream Italians, surrounded by smartly chosen local wines; a dozen or so are also available by – the – glass, some by half litre caraffa as well; low markup; but what fascinates me most, aside the vino, an excellent country side – style fare and always courteous service, is Grano’s special events program, city’s most exciting perhaps, dignitaries of the wine and of the arts’ world host special serata here, along prominent figures from the political arena and beyond; patio in the back for spring, summer and sunny autumn days with arrangements and furniture possessing a serious dose of rustic charm; must check out; salute !!

Side Note: Grano has over 200 Italian Wines on the list, 25 Ontario VQA and 20 Wines by the Glass
