Toronto, ON October 2011 – film.fashion.f1 is Canada’s only event where style, culture, fashion and F1 meet and is set to preview the PUMA SS2012 Lifestyle Collection, including pieces from the much- awaited PUMA by Hussein Chalayan SS2012 Collection on Thursday October 20, 2011 at the ultra- luxe Thompson Hotel.

Co-hosted by The F-List, 2011 Formula Renault 3.5 Champion and Marussia Virgin Formula One reserve driver, Toronto-native Robert Wickens will be making a highly-anticipated guest appearance. Recognised as the brightest Canadian driving talent, the 22 year-old Formula One star will surely drive the evening into high gear.

Fuelled by Toronto-based marketing agency P+F, a company by Pulp&Fiber and F1 sponsorship marketing agency ViaGP, this year’s film.fashion.f1 will deliver an unforgettable evening of decadence in Toronto’s most luxurious atmospheres during Toronto’s Fashion Week. Serving passed canapé throughout the evening from award-winning culinary destination, Scarpetta, a $75 prix fixe menu will be offered in the restaurant. Complete with a 60-foot runway and live performance by rising rock band Crash Parallel, film.fashion.f1 will take over the exclusive Thompson Hotel to showcase the PUMA SS2012 Lifestyle Collection.

Paying homage to the obscure, bizarre and after-hours games that every group of friends makes up at one point or another, the PUMA SS2012 Lifestyle Collection sets out to celebrate the lesser-known games played among friends. The collection consists of footwear, apparel and accessories. Exploring the velocity of wind and flight, the PUMA by Hussein Chalayan SS2012 Collection was inspired by the industrial dynamics of sailing and kite flying. The apparel fuses classic shapes with contemporary designs and technical details seen in athletic sportswear such as mesh panels, lightweight nylon and Tyvek.

Debuting in 2009 during the Toronto International Film Festival, film.fashion.f1 offers more than the ubiquitous red carpet soiree. film.fashion.f1 fuses the style and culture of film and fashion with the thrilling energy of Formula 1 to create a new breed of events where Canada’s top movers and shakers gather to network and party the night away. Since its inception, film.fashion.f1 has coordinated some of the country’s most-talked about events including a fundraising event in support of the Abruzzo in the Heart Foundation hosted by eTALK host, Ben Mulroney.
