CAFA: And the nominations are….

By on October 28, 2013

Elisha Cuthbert, Canadian actor showed off her fierce love for her homeland and the arts as she announced the nominees for the first annual Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards at The Ritz Carlton this passing Monday Oct 21. What a great start to #WMCFW!

It is finally time for Canadian fashion designers and stylist to receive the recognition they deserve. At the ceremony the room was filled with notable, fabulous people whom share my passion for fashion. I was thrilled to see some of my personal favourite’s nominated, including; Jeanne Beker, Philip Sparks and Mark Fast. It was evident that all in attendance are thankful for the fabulous team of directors who are responsible for the commemoration of CAFA.

Now the anticipation sets in as we all look forward to the fabulous event on February 1st 2014. I am thrilled to attend this awards show that will undoubtedly be part of fashion history and the start of something marvellous.

[Note: The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) was created to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievement and emerging talent in Canadian fashion design. In doing so, we hope to encourage the economic development of the Canadian fashion industry and endorse Canadian cultural sovereignty.]
